Remember a couple of decades ago? Camping was considered a poor mans holiday and a very uncomfortable one at that. People questioned how one could sleep under a thin piece of canvas on an uncomfortable makeshift bed of a thin mattress or whatever you had to replicate a bed. Well things have changed and many companies have come to the forefront in designing and manufacturing camping equipment to make it a more comfortable and enjoyable experience. If you are a hardened and regular camper you will of course of heard of the American company Coleman who specialise in camping equipment.
Unimaginable 20 years ago you have just got to take a look at this Coleman single airbed. How times have changed! The Coleman single airbed I am pointing you towards is The Coleman Quickbed with MP3 speakers and a built in 4D pump. Yes can you believe this a bed you can fall asleep in whilst listening to your favourite music. Very luxurious in my opinion. This Coleman airbed has a built in amplifier and a pair of wide ranging speakers to which you can plug in your personal CD player or portable MP3 player and listen to your favourite music. So if you have been out hiking all day, come back to your pitch and devoured a fire cooked meal followed by some single malt whiskey and good conversation, there is no better way to end the day than slipping into this airbed, plugging in your music and drifting off to a luxurious deep sleep to your favourite music tracks.
Airbeds are renowned or where renowned for their air leakage and on waking up in the morning you found yourself tangled up in a half deflated mess or even worse with back pain from having slept on the hard floor because the airbed had completely deflated. This Coleman Quickbed however is protected by Coleman’s Airtight System which incorporates a double lock valve that actually locks the air in the bed 2 times. This guarantees a leak proof bed that will perform up to scratch for many many years. And that’s not all with this bed. There is also a built in 4D pump, so inflating and deflating the bed could not be any easier. All you need for the pump is just 4 D cell batteries.
I don’t own one of these beds but have been looking to replace my existing airbed for when I camp out next. This airbed is very high on my wish list and I shall be buying it February time. When I have tried it out I shall drop another article here to let you know how it performed. In the meantime I have dropped hints to my dear wife so who knows maybe on Christmas day Father Christmas will pop in with one for me. The airbed is ideal for camping or even for usage in the home for unexpected guests, so maybe I get to test drive it a lot earlier than the next camping season. I certainly hope so. Take care all.
